PCI PA-DSS validation of the DPS eCMS-Suite successfully completed
The eCMS Suite 1.5 from DPS Engineering GmbH is now PCI Council certified since May 2011. DPS Engineering GmbH has been awarded the ‘PCI PA-DSS approved’ seal.
After a validation process lasting several months performed by the certification organisation USD (www.usd.de) the PCI Council approved and accepted PA-DSS validation. The PCI Council documented the success of the validation process in a Letter of Acceptance. The purpose of validation is to provide users in the credit and retail segments with a safe and secure quality outlook for the license products featured in the DPS eCMS-Suite 1.5. The PA-DSS validation process covers all products belonging to this product family. The validation process investigates development processes as well as operational processes relating to support and maintenance. Therefore, certification in accordance with PA-DSS guarantees much more than the certainty that customer and card data are processed in full compliance with specified regulations. The validation process equally certifies the quality of the development and production-oriented processes.
